Join the world-class Masterworks Chorale

Why join our membership?

We are guided by incredible leadership.

First, it’s our leadership. We flourish under Music Director Kevin Leong. With a scientist’s mind and an artist’s soul, he holds us to a professional standard and gives us the tools to get there. There’s not a moment wasted in rehearsal and preparation.

We sing masterpieces by master composers.

Then there’s the repertoire. Last season, we sang Handel’s Coronation Anthems, Morten Lauridsen’s Lux aeterna, Mozart’s Credo Mass.

Next season, we will perform Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass (Mass for Troubled Times), Schumann’s Requiem, and Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem), and so much more!

We perform memorable concerts at world-class venues.

Our performances at world-class venues like Sanders Theatre in Cambridge and the historic First Church in Cambridge create jaw-dropping sound and space experiences for our audiences. Our memorable concerts feature high-caliber orchestral players, many of whom play with Handel & Haydn Society, and competition-winning soloists.

The audition process

Auditions for the Masterworks Chorale are offered periodically throughout the season. To schedule an audition, email us at membership@masterworkschorale.org.

Your audition will consist of:

  • Vocalizing

  • Sight reading

  • Solo of your choosing

Your chosen solo should demonstrate your legato singing and musical line. It does not have to be memorized. We will provide you an accompanist. Please bring at least one copy of the chosen music.
