Masterworks Chorale Announces
its Eighty-Seventh Season
Concerts 2026–2027
Our November concert will sparkle with the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Haydn brothers, Joseph and Michael. The featured work is Mozart’s sublime and dramatic Coronation Mass, one of his best loved choral works.
We will present that alongside a selection of rarely heard pieces: Mozart’s robust Dixit et Magnificat, Joseph Haydn’s charming Responsoria, and Michael Haydn’s charming Beatus vir and Timete Dominum. You won’t be able to get this music out of your head!

In March, our program will be dedicated to the stunning Stabat Mater by Antonín Dvořák, who composed it after the loss of all three of his children. Although ultimately scored for large orchestra, the piece was originally conceived with intimate piano accompaniment, which is how we will present this intense work of surpassing beauty and powerful healing.
