Fall Concert | MOZART Coronation Mass
Nov. 22, 2026 | 3:00 pm | Cary Hall, Lexington MA
The featured work is Mozart’s sublime and dramatic Coronation Mass, one of his best loved choral works.

We’ll precede the mass with a selection of works that are lesser known but utterly charming and downright fun:
Mozart’s Dixit et Magnificat, Joseph Haydn’s Lauda Sion, and Michael Haydn’s Beatus vir and Timete Dominum.
We will be working with the talented strings, oboes, horns, trumpets, and timpani of the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, who will also provide a festive Mozart church sonata as an instrumental interlude. You will not be able to get this music out of your head!

Winter Concert | DVOŘÁK Stabat Mater
March 7, 2026 | 3:00 pm | First Church in Cambridge, Cambridge, MA
Our March program is more sober. The program will be dedicated to the stunning Stabat Mater by Antonín Dvořák, who composed it after the loss of all three of his children. It is an intense work of unsurpassing beauty and powerful healing.

Although the work is scored for soloists, chorus, and large orchestra, Dvořák originally envisioned piano accompaniment. It will be our great good fortune, as always, to work with the orchestra that is John Sullivan.

Spring Concert | BEETHOVEN Missa solemnis
May 8, 2026 | 8:00 pm | Sanders Theatre, Harvard Square, Cambridge MA
In May, we will finally return to the piece we had to abandon due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ludwig van Beethoven’s epic Missa solemnis.
This time, we’ll be joining forces with the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus, a group I used to conduct and for which John Sullivan is still Assistant Conductor and Accompanist.
The concert will be conducted by their director, Edward Elwyn Jones, who is also my friend and colleague. So many connections! It will be great fun collaborating on this concert with him, HRC, and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, and I am already looking forward to singing with you on stage in Sanders Theatre!
