Members of the Masterworks Chorale community know that the warmer weather and sunshine mean that it is time for our traditional Summer Sings! Last year the pandemic prevented us from gathering together on Tuesday evenings to share the joys of choral masterworks by Beethoven, Mozart, and other renowned composers. Unfortunately, out of an abundance of caution, this year we again are postponing our in-person sessions until it is safe to sing together.
HOWEVER, the success of our two-part “virtual” Messiah Sing in December 2020 and May 2021 has encouraged us to offer our community the chance to “reimagine” the concept of open sings. We are very excited to invite you to a virtual event sharing and celebrating one of the greatest pieces of choral music ever written!
On Tuesday, August 17, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM, please join Masterworks Chorale on Zoom as our Music Director, Dr. Kevin Leong, leads us on a guided tour of Mozart’s transcendent choral masterpiece, the Requiem.
